University career hub has started two novel programs first of its kind in the state as well as in the country to help the students and job seekers. The first program is continuous career guidance at colleges and the second program is one year training for IAS, KAS and other competitive exams.

To implement this program continuously and in the best possible way 2 vocational guidance officers have been identified in each college. 2 one day day workshops are conducted for vocational guidance officers to equip them with the program.

Under the training for IAS, KAS and other competitive examinations, one year training will be given to the selected, interested and eligible students on all Sundays and government holidays with the help of subject specialists. Vocational guidance officer will be responsible for the selection of eligible students.

Initially Mandya district is selected as a pilot project and two colleges are identified in each taluk and UCH officers will visit this college to brief the faculty and students about the novel program. Later on the vocational guidance officer will select the interested and eligible students for a one day workshop to be held at this district headquarter. Later on the UCH will select interested and eligible candidates and train them for one year and help students to equip themselves and to stand on their own. The alumni will also be considered and take part in these programs.
